Laura has come out to visit the girls and the house has been empty for days. I absolutely miss them but find solace in silence.
The biggest highlight was taking a nap Saturday afternoon for three hours- I needed it. Typically I kill myself at work trying to get ahead of things and it seems as though 4 months back from Kandahar it wont change.
As I'm writing I'm listening to Bon Iver again. Its been a long time since I've given him a spin. With the silence in the house it goes well.
Now if I could only get the gas furnace going.....
